France too strong for Italy

France were too strong for Italy in their opening round women's rugby 6 Nations game.

France ran out 32-0 winners though a better second half from the Italians meant the comformtable win wasn't more given French dominance.

THe game was played in freezing weather in Riom with the temperature hitting -7 degrees during the game. The pitch had been made playable by organisers of the game who spent hours clearing snow from the field beforehand.
