Entries for the Scrumqueens.com women’s 7s at Rugby Rocks London are ramping up so make sure your team isn’t left disappointed!
The Rugby Rocks festival, at Richmond RFC, has grown extremely fast in the two years since it launched, and in June 2011 it welcomed more than 140 sports teams – around 2,000 players alone taking part in rugby tens, touch rugby and netball as well as sevens.
The music festival line-up has included Feeder, The Pigeon Detectives, The Parlotones, Just Jack, and Xfm’s Eddy Temple-Morris over the past two summers.
This year once again we’re offering an Elite and an Open women’s competition.
The elite competition is the best of the best in the women’s game. Last year’s final saw Wooden Spoons triumph over England Women in the final with the remainder of the teams in the groups being top class Club sides.
The Women's Open is a competitive tournament which in 2011 featured the likes of The Pirates and Wasps Ladies. This tournament will suit any side who want to challenge themselves against club and university sides.
Entry Fee: £190 (includes weekend entry to the festival for 12 players + 1 coach + 1 physio)
